Inspired by a young girl from Belize, Lupita & Friends was founded on the simple premise: to enhance the lives of Lupita’s fellow Belizians by encouraging their active participation in a profitable business co-op. Partnering with The Christian Sewing Partners of Belize, Hyacinth provides various sewing co-ops with materials and ability to obtain training and necessary resources to produce their own line of hand-sewn patchwork animals. These giftable animals are sold in the United States. Proceeds provide fair and honest compensation for the women of the sewing co-op. When you purchase one of these one of kind animals, you are making a positive, tangible difference in the lives of these exceptional people.
